My brain can't not connect to many stories of this ilk yet noticing major differences. For your own reference though. Testament by Douglas Rushkoff (art by Liam Sharp and others) Good Omens by Gaiman & Pratchett (the novel as well as the streaming TV series adaptation) Lucifer (the TV series more than the comic it was inspired by) Battle Pope by Robert Kirkman and others (more so demons and angels on earth in modern times)
Being reminded of these things while noticing world creation is a good thing, for me at leas, especially if you're pulling purely from the original myths.
